Bischoff's Taxidermy & Animal FX offers the largest selection of life-like animals for rent in the industry.  If you don't see something on our webpage or if you need a custom job, please call us. We have a huge warehouse of animals, birds, fish, reptiles, and rodents; and we have a professional taxidermist to assist in customizing your orders. If you need a more prestine animal than one of our off-the-shelf rentals, Bischoff's will gladly fabricate any animal or imaginery creature to your own specifications.  Please call for a quote.

HISTORY - The owner of Bischoff’s is a professional taxidermist and  has taken taxidermy and adapted it to fit the needs of the movie world.  The inventory at Bischoff’s is available for rent to independent film artists, photographers, production companies, set decorators, and all who are interested in our wide selection of animals, birds, fish, reptiles, etc. Bischoff’s Taxidermy & Animal FX has become the largest animal rental company in the West and has provided many animal props for the film and television industry. Our animals and other creatures have appeared in the following movies: Men in Black, The Scorpion King, The Ring, War of the Worlds, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Blades of Glory just to name a few.

Besides our wide selection of over 400 animals for rent, birds, fish, reptiles, and rats, Bischoff’s Taxidermy & Animal FX offers customization of animals. We can fabricate any creature and customize a variety of movements from very simple puppets to complex animatronics. Our expert taxidermists can make all animals to customer specifications and meet your deadline however unreasonable your deadline may seem. Bischoff’s Taxidermy was founded in 1922 by Al Bischoff. The original location was on Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles California. Bischoff created a major Taxidermy Studio in the heart of Hollywood for hunters and many stars of the era. At Bischoff’s Taxidermy, Roy Rogers’ “Trigger” was taxidermied. Over the years, Bischoff accumulated a huge collection of his own taxidermy of birds and animals from around the world. Bischoff’s has changed hands over the years, relocating to San Fernando Road in Burbank and then to our current location at 54 E. Magnolia, Burbank California. Today this beautiful collection of our fur and feathered friends still exists and is shared by Bischoff’s Taxidermy & Animal FX with our customers.
